From Turin Caselle, the closest airport

Turin Caselle (TRN) is 120 km and 1h40 from Cervinia: A5 to Châtillon and then the Valtournenche. By public transport it takes three changes and four hours. Our transfer waits in the arrivals hall with a sign, loads skis and suitcases and drops you at the hotel door.

Turin Airport - Cervinia transfer

From Milan Malpensa and Linate

Malpensa (MXP) is 180 km and 2h20 away, Linate 190 km and 2h20, Bergamo 225 km. They are the airports of intercontinental and low-cost flights: the private transfer leaves when you land, without the fixed FlixBus times.

Malpensa - Cervinia transfer

From Turin and Milan by train or by car

In 2026 the Ivrea-Aosta railway is closed for electrification: trains end at Ivrea and continue by bus to Châtillon-Saint-Vincent, the closest station to Cervinia (30 km). Reopening is progressive from January 2027. From the stations of Turin and Milan a private transfer is the simplest choice.

Turin - Cervinia transfer

From Aosta and the valley

From Aosta there is no direct bus: you change in Châtillon. We do the long lanes in and out of the valley; Aosta-Cervinia only as a leg of a longer trip, for example for those spending a night in the city on the way from the airport.

Turin Airport - Aosta transfer

Does Cervinia have an airport?

No. There is no Cervinia airport and the Aosta Valley has no commercial airport. Those searching for "Cervinia airport" fly to Turin Caselle (1h40 transfer), Milan Malpensa (2h20) or Geneva (2h45, across the border, not served by us).

By train and bus

The closest station is Châtillon-Saint-Vincent, served in 2026 by Trenitalia replacement buses from Ivrea. From Châtillon the Arriva bus 503 climbs to Cervinia in about an hour (ticket 3.30 euro), with reduced timetables out of season. From Aosta you change in Châtillon. With skis and suitcases the changes weigh: that is why the door-to-door transfer exists.
