Gressoney is two villages: Saint-Jean, with the Savoia castle and the meadows, and La Trinité, at the end of the valley under the east face of Monte Rosa, where the Monterosa Ski lifts start (from 28 November 2026). Walser language and houses, the Bierfest at the end of June, the Walser run in July.
The Lys valley climbs from Pont-Saint-Martin: from Turin airport it is about 105 km and 1h35 to La Trinité; from Malpensa 165 km and 2h05. Vans for up to 8 for groups, skis and snowboards on board.
