The Aosta Valley has no airport: the four that matter

Searching for "Aosta airport" finds only the Corrado Gex airfield in Saint-Christophe, with no scheduled flights. Visitors to the valley land in Piedmont or Lombardy and finish the trip by road. Here are the real distances and times from the four Italian airports, by private transfer.

Geneva (GVA) is 140 km from Aosta and 105 from Courmayeur through the Mont Blanc tunnel, but it is in Switzerland: we work in Italy only and do not serve Geneva. Those landing there use the FlixBus (3h20 to Courmayeur, first departures in the afternoon) or a Swiss operator.

Which airport to choose

Turin Caselle is the closest to the whole valley and the right airport for Cervinia, Saint-Vincent, Aosta and Pila. Malpensa has more intercontinental and low-cost flights; with a private transfer the difference is 40-50 minutes. Linate suits those connecting through Milan the same day; Bergamo only with low-cost airlines.

From the airport to the valley without a car

In 2026 the Ivrea-Aosta railway is closed (progressive reopening from January 2027) and the FlixBus from Turin and Malpensa reaches Aosta in 2h15-2h45 at fixed times, without climbing to the ski resorts. The private transfer leaves when you land and ends at the hotel door: fixed price per vehicle, tolls included, skis on board.
