PURPOSE



This data is collected for the purpose of selling our chauffeur-driven hire services and providing the appropriate assistance, as well as for customer management and fulfilling accounting and tax obligations.


LEGAL BASIS


The legal basis for such processing relating to our service is the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject. The legal basis relating to the data navigation data is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in the operation of the platform.


COMPULSORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF THE DATA


The provision of your personal data is compulsory, except for those indicated in the driver's notes, and failure to provide them will result in the impossibility of establishing the contractual relationship or accessing the platform.

4. GENERAL INFORMATION


MODALITIES OF DATA PROCESSING


Personal data are processed by the Data Controller and by authorised persons, by means of manual, computerised and telematic tools, for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes through the following means: collection, recording, organisation, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, cancellation and destruction of data. The Controller processes personal data by adopting appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, modification or destruction thereof.


PLACE OF PROCESSING


The data are processed at the Controller's head office and at any other place where the parties involved in the processing are located.


STORAGE TIME


We retain personal data for as long as is strictly necessary to carry out the prescribed purposes and our retention periods will vary depending on the type of data involved but, in general, we will refer to these criteria to determine the retention period:



The data necessary to provide our service will be retained for a maximum period of 10 years;

In all other cases personal data will be deleted or anonymised, if this is not possible (e.g. because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), and stored securely. Such data will not be used in further processing and will be deleted as soon as possible.

Pursuant to Article 44 of the GDPR, the Controller may transfer your personal data to Third Parties located in countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. In this circumstance, the Data Controller ensures the adoption of appropriate safeguards (Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council, on the adequacy of the protection offered called EU-US Data Privacy Framework and adoption of the standard data protection clauses adopted by the Commission) with the foreign company receiving the data.


EXISTENCE OF AN AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING PROCESS


The processing of personal data is implemented without the use of automated processes including profiling.

DEFENCE IN COURT AND CONTROLS
